Ascent provides the ability to reduce or eliminate the manual steps in managing separate orders for OEM and Reprocessed product by offering options to streamline the supply chain process.
Option 1
Ascent works collaboratively with our partners to establish a successful distributor partnership for reprocessed products. Currently, Ascent holds agreements with both Cardinal and Owens & Minor to make the process of receiving reprocessed products as transparent as possible for our partners.
Option 2
Ascent offers Electronic Order Transmission and Inventory Management whereby order information is electronically transmitted into a partner's Procurement System. Ascent can generate and transmit a specific data order file customized to a partner's Procurement System requirements, using the data file to automatically populate the Purchasing System with the finished items, quantities and expected delivery dates of reprocessed product. Either of these processes help drive efficiency on the supply chain and smooth the way for reprocessing product to re-enter the hospital's systems.
